Kupwara: A poor class X student and an aspiring engineer from border town Tanghdar in Kupwara district has meticulously designed an earth cutter (mini JCB machine) by using syringes and some other material.
Abdul Wahid of Shamaspora is son of a labourer having meagre means of sustenance.
“Mai Engineer banna chahta hun, muje bohut shoak hai (I want to become an engineer, I am very passionate about engineering),” said Wahid.
Wahid’s homemade mini JCB amply demonstrates his skill but it is not be easy for the young boy to pursue his dreams apparently due to family’s very poor financial position.
However, Wahid hopes the LG Manoj Sinha will lend him support to pursue his dream of becoming a mechanical engineer.
“I want to contribute to the society in shape of a mechanical engineer. I am confident LG sir, will lend me support in pursuing my dream,” he added.
