Bandipora: Authorities on Monday morning closed 86 Km Bandipora—Gurez road following fresh snowfall across Gurez valley including Razdan top in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
“In wake of slippery conditions due to fresh snowfall, the Bandipora—Gurez road has been closed for traffic as a precautionary measure,” said an official.
Notably, the road was thrown open for one way traffic movement just a few days ago after hectic efforts by the authorities.
Notably, the road usually remains closed during winter due to heavy snowfall in the area.
