Srinagar: Six more Coronavirus infected patients died on Wednesday taking the death toll due to virus in Jammu and Kashmir to 825, health officials said.
Wednesday’s deaths include a 55-year-old man Bonagam Handwara, old-aged man from Shadipora Bandipora, 77-year-old woman from Noorbagh Baramulla, 65-year-old woman from Khanyar Srinagar, 55-year-old woman from Barzulla Srinagar and 70-year-old from Rusoo Budgam.
Barzulla woman, who was admitted on August 4, tested COVID-19 positive with multiple ailments and bilateral Pneumonia. She died at SKIMS on Wednesday afternoon, an official at SKIMS told Curtain Raiser.
Patients from Bongam Handwara, Shadipora Bandipora and Noorbagh Baramulla, who sucummbed to COVID-19 positive with bilateral pneumonia and multiple ailments, according to official at SMHS.
“Woman from Khanyar was also positive and suffering from Type Two Diabetes Mellitus. She died on Wednesday afternoon,” he added.
An official at JVC Bemina said that a man from Rusoo Budgam, who was COVID-19 positive died on Wednesday afternoon at the hospital.
Of total 825 deaths in Jammu and Kashmir, 712 account for Kashmir division and 113 from Jammu region.
