Rajouri: Two more COVID-19 positive persons died on Wednesday in Rajouri district of Jammu division, officials said.
Wednesday’s deaths due to Corona virus in the district have taken the death toll to six. The deceased include a former legislator.
A man in his mid 70s from Banwari village of Kalakote sub division tested positive for COVID-19 and died late Tuesday evening, said health officials.
Similarly, another man from Sundarbani, a sub division of Rajouri was brought at Sunderbani Sub District hospital on Wednesday morning, where doctors declared him dead in arrival.
“He has tested positive,” the officials said, adding that the victim was in his 60s.
On Monday morning, Former MLA Kalakote and NC leader died due to Coronavirus. Also, a young man from Nowshera, an aged woman from Thanamandi Bhangai and an elderly man from Chowkian Darhal have died due to the virus in district since Monday morning.
