Jammu: Jammu youth on Tuesday staged a protest against Bhartiya Janta Party and its senior leader Yudvir Sethi for his remarks against people seeking restoration of 4G mobile internet services.
Sethi, who is BJP’s state vice president from Jammu, had issued a statement recently saying that those demanding restoration of 4G mobile internet services are sympathisers of militants.
The protesters torched Sethi’s effigy and raised slogans against BJP. Vasudev, a youth activist heading the protest said that remarks by Sethi were highly commendable.
“We are nationalists and are demanding 4G mobile internet services but Sethi has termed us terror sympathisers, which is very unfortunate,” said Vasudev, a young protestor.
Another youth said that Sethi must tender apology for his remarks as he has hurt the sentiments of people.
