Kupwara: A woman from north Kashmir’s Kupwara district delivered triplets- all girls on Friday, health officials said.
The 29-year-old woman, wife of Nisar Ahmed, a resident of Lolab Kupwara gave birth to triplets at a private nursing home (Ramzana hospital) here in Srinagar.
The mother had normal delivery, according to Dr. Asmat Suhail Khanday, a gynecologist attending her.
All babies and their mother are doing well, she said.
Dr. Asmat said it was the second delivery of the woman. Earlier, she had given birth to a baby boy.
Notably on January 25, this year , a woman from remote Budnamal village of Kupwara district had delivered triplet at district hospital Handwara.
