Kupwara: A 80-year-old man was killed in an accident in morth Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday evening.

An unknown scooty rider hit the octogenarian in Gagal area of Lolab, resulting in critical injuries to him.

He was immediately removed to nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead, a police official said.

The deceased has been identified as Mangloo Khatan (80) son of Shamsdin of Gagal.

A case has been registered and investigations taken up, official added.
