Ganderbal: The traffic movement on 434 Km long Srinagar-Leh highway, which was suspended last Saturday after fresh snowfall at Zojila Pass, was restored today morning.
The road was opened for one way traffic from Leh-Srinagar on Wednesday morning, officials said.
He requested people to start contact officials and control rooms before they embark on journey.
Authorities closed the Srinagar-Leh road, which passes through Zojila pass and connects Jammu and Kashmir with Ladakh union territory, for traffic following snowfall on Sunday.
“The road was closed for traffic as a precautionary measure in the wake of snowfall,” the official added.
