Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have arrested a dozen persons and seized from them heroin, arms and ammunition besides cash in Baramulla district of north Kashmir, officials said on Saturday.
A narco-militant module was busted by arresting 12 persons from whom 10 grenades, 4 pistols along with as many magazines and 20 rounds were recovered, GNS quoted a police official as having said.
In addition, 11 packets of heroin, and cash worth Rs 21.5 lakhs besides cheque amounting to Rs one lakh was seized from them, the official said.
The police also seized one truck, a verna vehicle and a scooty in connection with case.
