Army’s 41 RR under the aegis of Hajipir Brigade and Vajra Division on Monday spread awareness on precautions to be taken to break the chain of novel Coronavirus spread.
Brief lectures focussing on the disease and its control were held at various places in Kupwara district, according to a hand out issued by the army.
A live demonstration regarding the importance of washing hands and the correct way to do so was given to the people. The masses were urged to follow social distancing and avoid public gatherings. At the same time, food packets were distributed to the needy.
41 RR has also assured of help and support in case of any eventuality to the people during this COVID-19 outbreak and informed about the significance of mask, sanitizers and hygiene. People were advised to stay calm and away from any fake news from social media.
