Amid the spiraling Israel-Iran conflict, exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi has declared the 46-year rule of the Islamic Republic effectively finished, calling for a national uprising to overthrow the regime once and for all.
In a defiant message posted on X, Pahlavi — son of the last Shah of Iran — launched a blistering attack on Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, accusing him of fleeing into hiding. “The Islamic Republic has reached its end,” Pahlavi proclaimed.
“Khamenei is a frightened rat who has gone into hiding. What has begun is irreversible. The future is bright — together, we will pass through this sharp turn in history.”
Pahlavi argued that the regime’s security structures are crumbling and urged Iran’s military, security forces, and civil servants to defect and join the people for a peaceful democratic transition.
“The fall has begun and is inevitable,” he said, revealing that parts of the military and police have already sent messages of support. Pahlavi also unveiled a 100-day post-collapse plan to establish a democratic national government.
As the domestic political crisis unfolds, international tensions continue to surge. US President Donald Trump, who abruptly left the G7 Summit in Canada to monitor the escalating Israel-Iran missile conflict, issued a stark warning aimed directly at Khamenei.
“We know his location. He is an easy target but safe — for now,” Trump posted. “We’re not looking for a ceasefire. We want unconditional surrender.”
With Israeli and Iranian forces exchanging intense missile barrages for a sixth straight day, Pahlavi’s bold call for regime change — combined with Trump’s ominous threats — has catapulted the standoff into a perilous new phase.
