Pulwama: Security forces on Thrusday averted a major tragedy by neutralising at least 45 Kilograms of Improvised explosive device (IED) spotted in a private car.
They spotted the explosive laden car in Ayengund area. Later bomb disposal squad neutralised the IED.
Army’s 44 RR, Police and CRPF found the IED following intelligence inputs about its movement.
There was no loss of life or property in the incident but windowpanes of a few houses were shattered due to the impact of the blast.
