In a powerful and unapologetic address on foreign soil, AIMIM President and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi tore apart Pakistan’s decades-old propaganda that tries to frame India’s diverse social fabric as a Hindu-Muslim battleground.
Speaking in Riyadh during a high-profile Indian diplomatic mission, Owaisi sent a strong message to the Arab world: India is home to over 240 million proud Muslims, whose loyalty and contributions are woven into the nation’s pluralistic identity.
He proudly highlighted India’s Islamic scholarship, known worldwide for its depth and fluency in Arabic. “Pakistan’s narrative of being the sole true Islamic nation in South Asia is a blatant lie,” Owaisi said.
“Our Muslim community is not just surviving but thriving, deeply patriotic, and enriched by centuries-old traditions. The world must see past Islamabad’s terror-linked propaganda.”
The visit follows Operation Sindoor and India’s increased diplomatic outreach after the recent terror attack in Pahalgam — a move designed to bolster India’s image as a secular democracy rising resiliently amid escalating cross-border tensions.
Calling out terror sponsorship and hypocrisy
Owaisi took no prisoners when confronting Pakistan’s claims of military strength and moral authority.
Referencing India’s measured response on May 9 — when nine Pakistani airbases were within strike range but India opted for a strategic warning — he underlined Pakistan’s ongoing sponsorship of terror groups.
“A US-designated terrorist led funeral prayers for militants killed in our strikes — proof of Pakistan’s deep terror nexus,” he said. Owaisi demanded Pakistan’s immediate reinstatement on the FATF grey list to cut off funding for terror outfits flourishing on its soil.
He presented chilling evidence: photos of Pakistan’s Field Marshal Asim Munir shaking hands with known terrorists, exposing Islamabad’s double game.
26/11 and the broken promise of justice
Revisiting the 2008 Mumbai attacks, Owaisi lambasted Pakistan’s refusal to act on credible evidence handed over by India’s previous government.
“Justice was delayed until Pakistan was cornered by the FATF,” he said, exposing the farce around Sajid Mir, a 26/11 mastermind—initially declared dead, then suddenly convicted for money laundering, not terrorism.
In stark contrast, Owaisi highlighted India’s commitment to due process: “Ajmal Kasab faced a fair trial and was sentenced according to the law, while Pakistan’s masterminds roam free.”
India’s Muslim voice amplified globally
The Indian delegation, led by BJP MP Baijayant Panda and comprising leaders and diplomats from diverse backgrounds, is touring Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, and Algeria to broadcast India’s message of peace, inclusivity, and zero tolerance for terror.
In the heartland of the Islamic world, Owaisi’s powerful voice shattered Pakistan’s religious rhetoric — affirming that India’s strength lies in its pluralism, and its Muslims are not victims or outsiders but a vital force in the nation’s fabric.
