Srinagar: As a part of public outreach programme, Police officials held an interaction with people at Police Station Devsar in Kulgam district. Social distancing norms and other protocols were followed during the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by SHO, PS Devsar and attended by respectables of various areas falling within jurisdiction of Police Station Devsar.

During the meeting, the participants raised and discussed various issues related to police and other civil departments including electricity, drinking water scarcity, road and transportation, etc.

The chairing officer assured the participants that their genuine grievances pertaining to police will be resolved on priority and the issues pertaining to civil administration will be taken up with the concerned departments for their early redressal.

The participants assured their full cooperation to police in tackling social ills.

Participants hailed the efforts of police in facilitating community interaction meets, where participants express their opinions freely.
