Body of Sadaqat Ahmad 17, was retrieved from canal a few hours after he drowned into the canal.

“Fencing won’t cost much to the government but it will definitely save precious human lives” said a local.

“At least 10 people have drowned to death in power canal but sadly government is still unmoved,” he added

The locals said human lives can only be saved by complete fencing of the power canal.

Two boys drowned to death in river Sindh on Sunday, triggering a widespread demand for fencing.
