Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on January 4 flagged off a 10-day educational, cultural exchange and communal harmony tour for a group of youths from Jammu, marking another step towards strengthening national integration and youth engagement.
The LG interacted with the 25-member team drawn from various districts of South Kashmir, extending his best wishes and encouraging them to make the most of the opportunity to learn, interact and grow through real-world exposure.
According to an official spokesperson, the tour will take the students and emerging youth leaders to several parts of the country, including Chandigarh, Haryana and Shimla, where they will engage in educational visits, cultural interactions and experiential learning programmes.
Anchored in the spirit of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat, the initiative is designed to promote communal harmony, cultural exchange and a deeper understanding of India’s diverse heritage, while offering first-hand insight into the nation’s rapid developmental progress.
